The one she teamed w/Mario. I think she is prentious and was trying to be "humble" but instead making herself standout. My hubby a Chef said cooking like that just is unproffesional.
I missed most of it but did she give a reason why?

Okay two points...
Most Chefs say their cooks to not be so prentious.
Chef Jackets are worn for the main reason of safety. My husband has been a cook (paid chef for 10 years) 2 years ago a pan of butter exploded catching his face and jacket on fire. Luckily the skin healed...and the jacket saved him from lots more burns. There is a reason to wear them...

She didn't say why, but it just didn't make sense to wear a chef's jacket for the show, when she doesn't usually wear one when she cooks on her t.v. show. I think she thought she would look like she was trying to be something that she wasn't. I personally liked that she kept it real, that's why she is so loved by many people.

I don't think she did it to be unprofessional or to be "humble." Just like the other person said, she is a casual chef. She did not receive a culinary degree from a great school like Giada did.
I noticed it too, and I was thinking maybe it was because Bobby Flay was the Iron Chef, so Giada was allowed to wear a jacket because she was on his side. But I have no idea if that's it.
Funny how the pretentious and unprofessional woman won :)

She was probably uncomfortable in them and as a cook I rarely work in anything that makes me uncomfortable in the kitchen. Granted, I'm not a professional but I've cooked for my own family for over thirty years. I understand why a jacket would be more sanitary in a professional kitchen, but I can't fault her for wanting to be comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings.

Rachel & Mario gained and deservingly so. Bobby is large besides the undeniable fact that it relatively is too undesirable he have been given caught with the cleavage-queen of the nutrition community. they must make her cover up on condition that toddlers are gazing. Giada clothing trashy for a nutrition instruct and her smile is so fake. She loves that digital camera yet could not make it in Hollywood so she had to bypass to the kitchen.

She doesn't wear a chefs coat because I believe she is not a professional chef, she refers to herself as a cook. I enjoy her food network show.

She is not technically a chef, just a regular person that likes food, i don't think she has even been to culinary school. Also she doesn't do just food on TV she now has her own show one one of the bigger channels

because it's totally just a gimmic show and she's known as a casual cook, not totally pro. who cares? Don't you think it's more pretentious to wear the snobby jacket than just be her trademark casual self? Duh.
And how is wearing skimpy underwear saying anything pretentious about her cooking??? Do you know the definition of pretentious? You can't spell it correctly. You sound very jealous and are getting pretty catty over someone you don't even know. Don't like her, don't watch her. Move on..

Because a chef's coat would make that cow look even bigger than she already does...
