Step 2 The reason Christ asked the rich kid to give up all his worldy possesions is because he knew he wouldn't do it Christ knew that he loved his worldy possesions more than the truth. He was seeing where his heart was.
Step 3 Luk 14:26 Hate is a mistranslation of the greek here's a more accurate version. Either way Christ meant to put him above all things this includes your family.
"You cannot be my disciple, unless you love me more than you love your father and mother, your wife and children, and your brothers and sisters. You cannot come with me unless you love me more than you love your own life."
Step 4 Eating his flesh and blood isn't literal its metaphoric. Christians take communion in remember of Christ. The bread is his flesh and the wine ( grape juice) is his blood.
Step 5 By becoming like little children Christ is not saying to literally become a child but to humble yourself as they do and believe and have faith like a child and then you will be able to enter heaven.
Step 6 Born again- Christ is speaking of our glorified bodies and that flesh and blood cannot enter heaven.
Step 7 Christ was making a example that we should not be like the self righteous phraisees.
Step 8 Jesus doesn't lie If you believe in Him and follow his commandments you will enter heaven.

You are not taking into consideration the fact that the translators of the original works were done by unenlightened men who didn't speak the original language and the work was subjected to each translators interpretative license. The bottom line is that if you are a good person and you believe then you shall be saved.

Could you possible be any more ignorant? You have not only taken things out of context you have tried to twist Gods word. The man that was told to sell everything. He loved his money and things more than he loved God. That is why he chose not to sell his things. I think Jesus made His point pretty clear on that. You can not serve two Gods. Money was that mans God. Also the word hate.......look at the times that it was spoken.....hate did not mean then what it means today. The word hate then meant to love less. And yes Jesus did mean what he said there. You should love even your family less than God.

can't watch the video but i lived in philly so i don't believe video or my own eyes sometimes...like when i saw your quandry cause it ain't a question...GOD of impossibilities...never seen a miracle huh..open your bible and your heart and listen for instruction.
