i'm a flight attendant myself, so here's some insider tips:
there's a coat compartment on board every aircraft. so hand-carry ur suit in its original hanger&bag.
here's the important point: u don't want ur suit to be the first to go in the compartment, cause when other jackets, coats..etc show up, urs will be smashed between them and the headboard.
also, during boarding, the aisles are very crowded, so make sure u keep the suit on ur lap until the cabin calms down. u can't expect the FA to guard ur suit like her own, trying to make her way thru that aisle of commotion.
lastly, physically go to forward galley urself and ask with ur sweetest voice "where's the coat compartment please?" & cross ur fingers that they are too busy to hang it themselves that they'll just point at it. the idea is, hanging ur own coat in there, u can make sure its not randomly stuffed in, folded or something.
in case u don't get lucky, observe where they're hanging it so during the flight u can go& make sure it's hung properly.
NOTE: the reason u approach "forward" galley is no-brainer, thats the direction passengers are offloaded 95% of the time, so u can pick it up on ur way out. obviously much easier than rowing against the aisle current after the landing.

Carry it on the hanger, covered up and while you get on the plane, ask the cabin crew to place it in the coat hanger. Many Airlines do it for Business class travellers only, but others try to oblidge as well... try your luck... shoould not be a problem.

Try turning the coat inside out, then fold and place in the overhead bin. It will not only help with the wrinkles, but also keep it free of dust and other stuff up there.

if you fold the pants along th creases, as you would if you were going to hang it on a hangerand then roll it (from the waist down to the hem of the legs). Then your jacket, do the same thing --roll loosely)
