not at all
there's not much of a difference
good luck
make sure her parents are ok with her going out with someone to start with
once the air is cleared about this, everything will go smoothly

I don't think the age difference is an issue but the knowledge span from high school to college may be a little too advantageous for you. At 17, she is probably a junior or maybe a senior, but she is still at a disadvantage when it comes to "real world" savvy. Use your own moral judgement when it comes to dating high school girls. Just remember they are impressioinable and easily led astray. In conclusion: If you are a moral young man then the age gap is no big deal. If you are a player, then the knowledge span is too great for you to be dating minors.

when you said large age gap i was expecting something a little more like you in your 30's and she in late teens like 19 now that's something to think about . Now that i have seen a 2 year age difference i don't think it's a large gap, but if i were you I would wait till she's 18 and legal before engaging in any well you know

Well, I don't think that it is, really, but since you are in college, and you have experienced sooooooo much, its kind of big. Not too big though. As long as you are not the guy who goes out and hooks up with random girls, then I think its fine. I don't know, I like this guy, he is 19, and I am 17, senior in HS, and right now he is just working, sometimes he seems way older than me, actually most of the time he seems older than me, but we still get along fine, and he's a nice guy so it works out.
As long as you understand that she might make mistakes, that you have already made i think its perfect.

That is barely an age gap. I am 18 and my boyfriend is 21 and to me he isn't any older and I am not any younger. I feel like we are the same age. Large age gaps are like 10+ years. The age doesn't matter, its the experience and maturity level that matters. If you feel you are much more mature than she is because of your age, then yes, that is a problem. But the numbers shouldn't matter that much especially when they are so close.

In my opinion, NO!! It's just two years. You may be at different stages in school but I think that you are both close enough in age to relate to one another.

No, not at all. My parents are 10 years apart and they love eachother very much . As long as you actually like her that is fine.

oh no...not at all. It may seem very different now since you are in college and she is in highschool, but in a few month, she will also be in college and that won't make any different.

Not at all! Well, it could cause some strain--the your being in college and her being in high school thing, but it's possible. :)
