rofl it looks like i'm prone to having pain every week.
This time, it's my stomach. I wake up and my stomach feels as if I got cut in half or squeezed REAL hard. The pain is near unbearable, I'm amazed I can move off the bed. When I drink my mom's tea, it goes away in a few hours. Sleeping on my stomach dispells it temporarily. I just have to know what is wrong and why so I can prevent it next time. Once I went to school with it!

It is strange that you have had this before and it seems to me that you should go to the doctor when it is hurting so Why don't you go. Some time people get flu like and it hits them in the tummy and really it is a bug and it takes time to get everything back in working condition and like doing easy thing like chicken broth for a few days and pudding and then do some chicken noddle and try this for a few day and see what happens. But you had this before then you really need to get to a doctor.

* IF YOU SUDDENLY GET ALL OF THESE : FAINTNESS, SEVERE THIRST, AND FEEL EXTREMELY COLD WHILE YOU ARE HAVING SEVERE ABDOMINAL PAIN, CALL 911!

Pain in the stomach, (Abdomen), could be any number of things, it is impossible to tell without a physical exam.

Serious Problem Check List:

1) Fever that doesn't go away after 2 or 3 days
2) Severe Constipation lasting more than 2 days, or severe or continuous Diarrhea
3) Extremely severe pain, pain also in your side, or also in your back
4) Trouble peeing
5) Painful or irregular periods
6) Rectal bleeding or tarry stools
7) Severe pain on the lower right side

If the pain moves around your stomach from the left side to the right side in waves that is called colon spasms. This means a problem that is in the bowel rather than appendicitis, a kidney, the bladder, or an ovary.

Go to the nearest emergency room in case of:
1) Rectal bleeding or tarry stools
2) High or persistent Fever
3) Increasing pain or pain that lasts more than 2 days
4) Nausea or vomiting
5) Fatigue, no energy, lost appetite.

Even if you get better you should still follow up with a Dr.

Stomach pain or bellyache may be caused due to a problem in the organs in the abdominal region. The main organs in the abdomen are the digestive system consisting of the stomach, small and large intestines, the liver, the gall bladder , pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. Minor problems like gastroenteritis can cause severe pain, while fatal illnesses like cancer may cause only mild pain. You could have what is known as a grumbling appendix or a hernia (trapped bit of intestine). If it is that painful, your Mum should take you to see a doctor as both these conditions can suddenly turn very nasty. Better have it diagnosed by someone who can feel your tummy and locate the pain exactly to make an accurate diagnosis. Hope you get better soon.

You need to have a check up with a doctor before it's too late or you may try this method. cut down spicy or cold drinks prior to sleep. Have an early dinner. Tea and coffee are acidic. too much wind in the tummy can lead to bloating and pain. Your digestion system and colone needs cleansing. You may try acidophiles like yakult or yougart. more fruits , vege and water.

If I stay in bed too long I get a sore stomach. I think it's because I stay in the same position too long. Sleep less?
