Why do you feel embarrassed for letting your feelings for him be known? He feels safe by staying in the friends zone with you. I think in an underhanded way he has admitted to you that he thinks of you as special, & he puts you above all of the other girls he knows. If I correctly understand his logic, he believes that if you two became boyfriend & girlfriend, then when it came time to break up, there would be such bad feelings between you that he would lose what he has with you now.

It's OK to keep on liking him, & it's OK to see & date other guys too. As long as you too are on good terms, then he may one day decide that getting closer to you is worth the risk of losing you entirely.

don't be embarassed because you were honest with him! It takes a REAL women to confess her feelings! Besides he is the immature one that is not ready to be in a relationship! HIS LOSS!!!

There are more men out there that are ready for a relationship!

He is a player, why have one piece of cake when you can have the whole cake.

just let him know how you feel. And if he doesn't reciprocate ... just leave him and find someone else.
