No. People convert for all sorts of reasons. The only brainwashing is when people accept a religion only because they were born in it. Even Christians need to be converted.

I think they are both brainwashed in a manner of speaking.

We are all in some way mentally conditioned (there's the PC term for ya, *sigh*)... we are brainwashed by our parents or peers to have certain politics, attitudes, to like certain sports teams, foods, music, what have you... and yes, we are also brainwashed, usually by our parents, into our respective religions.

I think it best to let children decide for themselves about religion when they are no longer children and are old enough to do so on their own. But, I do realize that the work it would take the religious parents to accomplish being truly unbiased, even if they wanted to, would be over the top. Just idealistic thinking on my part I guess.

Not necessarily. I am a Christian and stand strong in my beliefs. I go to a church where I am encouraged to ask questions, where our only reference tool is the Bible, and am given a clear understanding of the things within it. I think any who converts to Islam or any religion was just shown something that made sense to them. The only time I think of someone being brainwashed is when they start doing "crazy" stuff (cults and compounds, terrorism, hate crimes...all in the name of God)

A man with free will cannot be brainwashed; you may have imagined that he has no human brain.
How a Christian can be a being without human brain? What is your knowledge about the position of man in the creation of God.
I think Christ does not allow anyone to judge or to insult other people.

No--I think they have just realized that Christianity is an illogical religion. G-d is One. I converted from Christianity to Judaism. I believe G-d is One, not a trinity.

No. Beliefs are very personal things and people often choose to believe something else. I was raise Christian and now I am Wiccan... I am not brainwashed NOW, though I honestly believe I was when I was a child/teen (as in being forced to go to church, etc). I think that people can make decisions, whether informed or otherwise, for whatever reason they choose. Faith is one of the few honest freedoms that we have - no one can ever force us to believe anything without our consent.

Of course. It takes a great deal of brainwashing to be converted into any religion, even from muslims to christians.

No need for brainwashing. Those chirstians just realize the most simple truth of life. And that is GOD is 'The Absolute'. HE does not need a son or wife to know the problems of humanity.

They Just realize this fact and submit their wills to GOD. And Islam means "Peace acquired by Submitting of your will to GOD"

nope. maybe they just found the answers in another religion. i am christian, and sometimes i have a lot of questions about the beliefs and dogmas. i admire the muslims and their steadfast belief, that could be a reason why christians convert to islam. not because they've been brainwashed.
i think calling allah a false God and islam a false religion wrong. its just like calling Jesus a false God or Christianity a false religion. as human beings, we have to respect everyones beliefs, even if they are not our own. there is no need to call a belief not your own "false". While it's not your belief, it's what billions of people steadfastly believe in.
