Okay I have a best guy friend that I love to death and have drunken mistakenly messed around and sleept with him(in which i dont remember)- Im not really attracted to him but I love him to death and when i was stupid and drunk- i regretfully mistook that for attraction, now that i fcuked up he is in love with me and he talks to me about how i have to make a decision, and that I am breaking his heart (Im Lost!!)... I dont want to lose him but i dont want to be with him, like that- did I ruin our friendship completely?

If the friendship was strong to begin with, then you should be able to talk honestly with him and he should appreciate the honesty. I would explain to him that there is nothing more than friendship on your end. Also, ask him what the chances are of a relationship lasting that began with sex after being so drunk that you don't remember anything. In my opinion, there is one other question that needs to be asked. Is he worth keeping as a friend if he would sleep with you when were that drunk. I don't care if you were even coming on to him, a class guy would have waited til you were sober. I am probably in the minority with that line of thinking.

Well. If he is a simple understanding guy(which are hard to find) you could simply sit down and talk to him about it and he might just understand. I had a girlfriend not to long ago who used to be my best friend. We slept together and then later down the road broke up. To this day we are still good friends and its no different then when we were friends before we got together. So it just depends on the person

sounds like he can't get over the fact that you don't like him in that way. If he was a real friend he would respect you decision and and not make you choose to either be with him or have nothing to do with him at all. he is the one that is ruining the friendship. you both made the mistake but he can't get over it. are you supposed to be with him just because you feel about about hurting him?

Well your friendship has changed. That much is certain. You might ask yourself if that's such a bad thing. You have said that you "love him to death" and it's been my experience that some of the best interpersonal relationships begin as friendships.

no way to go back however if the only reason you dont wish to be with him is because you dont find him attractive but you found him attractive enough to sleep with him when you were drunk i dont think that you've got much of a case for not at least giving him a shot. that's the least you could do for him since it was your mistake

About the fastest way I know of to destroy a friendship is to get into bed together. You may as well walk away, things will never be right again.

Once you slept wih him the relationship changed forever. Since he is in love with you there is no way to go back to just being friends.

If he's truly a friend and you love him be honest with him and tell him how you feel. If he's truly your friend, he'll understand and still want to remain friends. It will be hard on him though.
