I need a program that I can download for free on the internet and I need the program that will help me burn programs,files,pictures and other stuff onto cds.I already know of NERO and dont want anything to do with it.I am going to reinstall windows on my computer and want to put all of my important stuff on this cd or cds incase I mess it up I will still have all of my stuff for future use.

Bogus_Dude is right i have CD Burner xp pro and it is very good and it is free.It can do all of the things that you want.

why dont u use windows program file for that...?? checkout here that explains how to burn CD / DVD without a additional bullshit... and simple...
1. Install CD / DVD driver
2. open the directory in explorer u want to burn
3. open Recorder CD / DVD drive in explorer
4. start copying the directory u want to burn into CD / DVD
5. when u finished. say write...
all done... no need of a 3rd party software... coz... xp makes it simple... that anybody hardly knows...
or use
1. windows media player
2. real player
to burn CD / DVDs...
enjoy...
