Yes, and this is a "secret" that most men just don't get: Most women really want intimacy and caring from their partner, and once they feel that they have that, their sexual responsiveness is increased tremendously. It's just the way we women are wired: We like sex, sure, but the best thing for most of us is to feel totally loved and secure. Once we've got that, we can really feel comfortable and let the sexual abandon flow. Guys tend to think that we are like them, and that the physical response is primary. If they would just slow down and give us the emotional connection first, they would be so amazed at our response! (I hope lots of men are reading this. Give it a try, guys - just hold your woman and cuddle with her. If you are patient, she will be so aroused by your love and caring that you will never forget the experience!)

i know right now you want me to give you an answer that will help you to understand him, but i wont do it. you are entitled to want to feel safe and secure in his arms without being groped. right now the last thing you want is sex because you want your bf to be with you for more than that. the problem here is, he only wants sex. you being insecure is only annoying him and making him angry and sweetheart, there are so many guys out there in the big wide world that have a tonne nore respect for women than your man does. if you want whats best for yourself dont rely on him to make you feel safe cos he doesnt love you. hopefully everyone else that answers your question wont try to 'make you feel better' cos ultimately they're hurting you more. i say all this with care and compassion and i hope you will understand:) the information i have got from you was through the other q you posted.

I like to be held close anyway...

I find physical affection such as holding and cuddling to be a very strong bonding tool, because it allows you to be intimate without the whole physical aspect of the relationship being about sex.

depends on how long we have been dating and how comfortable we are with one another. It always makes a woman feel warm inside to have a man hold her when we know he can take care of us.After a month of dating I would say.

I love to be held close no matter how I feel. My fiance has fantastic, warm arms. *Sigh*

Sorry about the sappiness. I haven't seen him in 2 weeks and I miss him. :-(
