You might as well drink KAS, Mirinda, Fanta, Caballitos or whatever else

I don't think that's an issue, as most of the time when you go somewhere they only sell either pepsi or coke, usually they don't sell both (example> movie theaters, restaurants, cafes)

If you are in the desert and you find a vending machine, it will only sell either pepsi or coke, so one of you will have to be flexible or remain thirsty

Maybe they can bump into each other and her chocolate can get into his peanut butter- I mean his coke and pepsi can mix- and they would both have something new-D

Of course , that's like relationships where one person drinks alcoholic beverages and the other one doesn't.. Just don't get the cups mixed up, because that's how my household is and I can damn sure tell th difference !!
