This is perfectly normal and will go on for a few weeks. The flow will eventually grow weaker, just like a woman with her period. However, pay attention to your dog. Look for signs of infection, like excessive bleeding, foul odors, listlessness, and eating problems. The post partum bleeding can also hide signs of a uterine infection.

Yes bleeding is normal to a certain extent. But, if it is excessive this could be a sign that the placenta did not completely deliver out of the uterus. Did you see your dog give birth? Did you see a dark redish blob looking thing come out? The dog usually eats it. (this is normal) If you did not see it or you just don't know I would at least call your vet to make sure if the bleeding seems like it's a lot.

The owner of the dog needs to know how to "operate" the dog, same way you can get into a car that's in perfect running order but if you don't know how to drive you won't have much luck making the car go anywhere. If the owner doesn't know how to maintain the training, the dog will soon become untrained again. Read more here https://tinyurl.im/xK89z

People seem to think that once a dog is trained, that's it. Not true. You must reinforce the dog's training every single day in some way. It's best if the owner and the dog go together to get trained. As a professional trainer once said to me "We can train any dog in 2 days. It takes longer to train the owners

It is completely normal for her to be bleeding. It is just like a human giving birth to a baby.

I have never had a female bleed prior to going into labor, so no, that is not normal. I don't know how serious it is, but if it were my dog, she'd have been at the vet's 2 days ago (and not to the vet who already said she thinks everything is fine--I have my doubts about her). If you don't have a regular vet, ask your friends and neighbors who they recommend as a GOOD vet.

yes that is normal. animals especially dogs are like women. when women give birth they bleed for about a week to 12 days. So it's nothing to worry about. If it continues past the 12day mark or even the week mark i would take to the vet immediately to have checked out.

It is normal. They can bleed a couple of weeks or longer after whelping. As long as there isn't a big gush of blood, it is normal.
