I know some people who are never satisfied. Tey are hard masters and it's not nice to strive for nothing. If This is religion for some, shouldn't we better strive to be better to our neighbors and foreigners... to all the people in the world instead of working hard for recognition and never attain it. Are the set of religious" rules flawed so that no one ever gets even a "bravo" or a "well done". Where is satisfaction in that then?
Believe me, being nice around you is much more satisfactory than waiting for ever for a recognition of efforts from heaven.

All human beings get pushed around and put down, and suffer from
low self-esteem. Everyone you meet will try to make you feel like there
is something wrong with "you". Because they ain't right!
This is the beginning of wisdom!
How will we handle that? Act just like them? Or mature?

Than waiting for a recognition of efforts from heaven? Maybe. But not than actually getting that recognition. You can't rule out what I am saying unless you've already died, and of course, then you wouldn't be asking this question.

Jesus said that we would have great suffering on this world, but we (believers in Him) are only 'passing through' to the mansions He has prepared for us.

I didn't mean to dispute your point that people shouldn't be never satisfied. That is a futile way to live: Jesus calls on His followers to give undeserved love to everyone, just as He did. When He returns, the faithful will be sorted from the scornful. I'll see you then.

Please realize my efforts are due to wanting to be more Christ like. Giving, loving, caring....not a gold heaven star on my head.

Jesus said,"I have come not to call the
righteous, but the sinner to repentance".

Did you know...
God loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus
to this earth to pay for our sins so that
whoever puts their trust in Him will not
perish but have eternal life...?.. (Jn. 3:16)

Did you know we can be clean & free from
the burden of guilt & condemnation of sin?

Christ has called us to Himself so we
can repent of sin & be freely forgiven, and
be cleansed of all unrighteousness .

The Bible says, "If we confess our sins
He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and
to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

Are you still living in sin? The Bible says:
The Lord is compassionate toward us
and very patient, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come
to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)

Did you once know Christ and turn away?
The Bible says, the Son of God has come to
seek and save that which is lost. (Lu.19:10)

Jesus is the lover of your soul...
Will you return to him now and receive his
mercy and grace. He wants to set you free
from guilt & sin and give you perfect peace .

Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father; I admit I am a sinner; I have
gone astray. I repent of sin now, and return to
you. Please have mercy on me, forgive me
my sins and wash me clean. I believe Jesus
died for me, so I can be set free. Restore peace
to me and give me the free gift eternal life;
I ask in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
