My lab has about five lumps all over her body. Some are really small but one is as large as a golf ball. Is this normal/

A lump can be anything a cyst,papillomas, tender knots, warts, hematomas or cancer. The best thing to do is take the dog to the vet and have him examine and evaluate it.

Yes , Most labs get fatty tumors in there old age..Mine has about 3 to 4.
The largest is about the size of a softball.
The vet said they shouldn't be removed unless they catch on things.

they could be fatty tumers. are they soft and squishy and move around? If they are hard and cant be moved could be malignant. How old is the dog? Does he get regular shots and checkups ? If so have the vet check them out. that is a large size to just hope it will go away.It wont

My chocolate lab has lumps on him too. But we had them tested and it's just fat. I suggest having your lab checked out by the vet...Just to be safe.
