Im not sure if it was the fastest but the Volkswagen Corrado is a pretty cool little sports car. They dont make it any more i think they quit making them in the early 90 or mid 90s but they are two door sports cars. They are similiar in speed and size to a Eagle Talon Tsi or a Mistuibushi Eclipse or a Dodge Stealth. My friend had a 92 VR6 and had some work done to it and it was fast as hell and fun to drive

VW Phaeton is the fastest car ever made by VW it's like their version of the Maybach.

Well, VW owns Bugatti, so I would have to say the Veyron. 1001 horsepower, 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, top speed 253 mph.
