i have a four year old and i think he was fully potty trained at 2.5yrs old. all kids are different though. it took a long time to for him to be fully trained to have a bowel movement on the potty. but if you have a boy try putting cheerios in the toilet they like to aim at them....its pretty funny. but as for the bowel movement part i don't know he just started going when he didn't like the feeling in his pants.

You know you can always get a little potty chair, and when you go into use the bathroom, encourage your child to use the bathroom as well. At the childcare my son attends, the toddler room changed the kids diapers in the bathroom (unless they were really messy) and encouraged them to at least sit on the toilet. They usually enjoyed doing this b/c then they got to flush the toilet afterwards. (The things that interested toddlers!)
My son first showed interest in the toilet at 18 months, and wasn't really potty trained until he was about 2. This is really early for boys though (or so I've been told.) He's now four, and sometimes has accidents at night (but it's really rare.) He's totally fine during the day though. I think it's important to know that every kid is different, and if you push potty training, it is more likely to backfire then succeed. Good Luck!

It all depends on the child. It took my boy longer to train then my daughter. Start talking about it and showing and reading the book potting tarring there are a few different books and movies out there. If your anything like me I can never go to the bathroom alone they both follow me. Have him flush for you. Say "Mommies a big girl she went potties", silly I know but keep it fun and dint push it it will happen when the child is ready

My 4 yr old daughter potty trained at 26 months and my 27 month old son is still not potty trained!
All kids are different and they will potty train when they are ready.
I think 15 months ols is a bit small for potty training though.
You have time so dont worry.

It's best to wait until (he or she?) starts showing an interest in the potty, usually around 2 1/2 or 3 for most kids. Don't pressure, though, when the time comes you want to make it fun and exciting so the whole experience is positive and rewarding for you both. Good luck!

Usually by age 2 they are old enough to understand the concept and be cooperative. Make a game of it and it will go easily

i started to try! to potty train my son at 24 months but he gave me all kinds of trouble... but the best thing to do that worked for me was to let them come into the bathroom with u or dad..depending on if ur child is a boy or girl! and let them see ow its done.. my son loved it when i put a few froot loops in the toilet and told him to hit the target....

I would suggest letting your child decide when is the right time. If you try to push your child, it may have adverse affects. When your kids ready the diaper will come off naturally.
