That we have not yet suffered a nuclear world holocaust and that both of my parents will still be alive and be present for it. My father is dying of brain cancer and this may very well be his last thanksgiving with us. My feelings for my kids are always with me.

I'm especially thankful for my good friends. They have made all the difference in the quality of my life. I am thankful for the people
I have come open who are open and non dogamtic. They are the true "manna from heaven". I am thankful, that I was born with the perseverence to find my own path in life regardless of what the rest of the world is doing. And I am also especially thankful to my late father who taught me that a satisfying life comes through the pursuit of knowedge.Of course, I will be celebrating with my friends. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving, Amy. Peace.

I'm thankful that I wake up each and every day. I'm thankful that I have survived all that I have. I'm thankful that I met the most wonderful man in the world and have had four wonderful years of marriage. I'm thankful that I'm able to go back to school and finish my degree after all these years. I'm thankful my sister lives in another state and won't be at MY dinner table.
My husband and I are having one of my FAVORITE professors over. Dr. He and his wife have just moved here and don't have family in the area either. This will be their first Thanksgiving, so I'm also thankful that their first thanksgiving will be one of friendship and laughter rather than the "annual family fight" that Thanksgiving so often is in this world.

I'm most thankful for my health and at times my family. I'm also very thankful for my ability to learn and grow from every situation that I have been faced with in the last few years. I'll be celebrating turkey day with my mom, my dad is going up to cleveland to spend time with his mom and my half brother and his family. Mom and I are staying home because I have school work that needs to be completed.

there are so many things that i have to be thankful for, i am truely blessed with a family who loves me. this thanksgiving i will be cooking dinner with all the works, and then some, for my husband, 8yr old, 2yr old, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, sister, and 2 neighbors oh yea!! and my parents, tentatively.
we will play board games, well those of us that can keep our eyes open. of course some football game will be going on so my husband can be thankful. later we will decorate our Christmas tree, talk and drink hot chocolate or cider. i love it when we are all sitting down eating, laughing and talking about our lives and what we are thankful for, and sometimes what we are not. i love my life and i am very thankful to have a wonderful husband and children, they drive my nuts sometimes but i love them none the less.
at the end of the evening my husband will bring me a hot cup of coca and then he will rub my feet. that is a great ending to a hectic and great day.
i hope that you have a wonderful thanksgiving and christmas.

I am thankful for the manifestation of the physical we call life .
Be it chance or fantasy my self awareness and spirit manifested of the physical laws of nature are too short to devalue or cheapen with less than the obvious.
thank the inconceivability of realization for this brief candle.
