Does he have to fight a professional boxer to get a Green Card? Or did someone tell you that a large percentage of "Boxers" are foreign and have Green Cards? Does your question have any relevance to the sport of boxing?
But, I know many people who had little trouble getting a Green Card, they either did it the legal way and studied up on basic US History or they took the short cut and bought it or married someone to get it. Not a pro boxer though. Anyway if he is a US citizen and you and he get married you'll become a citizen through marriage.

Hi. I have a friend who married an Australian woman and she obtained a green card. I don't remember all the details but I think she found it easy to enter the US on a temporary visa. Later she applied for a green card and had to fill out MANY forms and wait in long lines. But she got it.
So if you are going to marry your sweetheart, I don't think it will be impossible to live in the US. And despite the rude comments of some people, I believe you will be welcome.
Like Germany, the USA is a country of many people with many opinions.
Good luck.

No, not easy at all.. you could probably get a fiance's visa and then get married and then apply for a green card, but make sure that you don't just get married for a green card... BAD IDEA!!!! a lot of paper work though and usually would take between 1-2 years to even get a fiance's visa.. he might not want to wait. Also once you get the green card, you won't be able to get joint citizenship with German citizenship.. Germany doesn't allow that, so if that was your goal and you don't want to give up you German citizenship, I wouldn't go through with it..

Go to the embassy of the USA in your country and ask them what you need to do. The rules are different for different nations. You may even be able to get a lot of information on the computer by going to the web site of the embassy of the USA in your nation.

Hi there.
There are two ways that I know of on how you can get your green card.
1) Fiance Visa
2) Spouse Visa
Which ever one he chooses, he has to be the one to contact the US immigration for the paperwork. He has to be the one to fill it out and submit it.
Go to these two links:
