A diamond ring, just out of the blue?? Does it mean he sees the relationship going somewhere?? He didn't propose. What could he have meant?? He is 18 I am 17.
Should I tell him, I don't think we are serious?
Should I wait to tell him I cheated on him??
We have talked about our possible future but I thought we were kidding.
What is it all mean??/??
I know I love him know and I quit cheating and felt horrible. So should I let it go or tell him?? Should I tell him I'm not ready for anything serious yet but maybe in the future?? I want to marry him but maybe in a year or 2
BTW: Ladies, it's real. It's the past, present, future one( You know with the three diamonds.

I think he meant that to be a "promise" ring, so it seems to me like he might want to have a serious relationship with you in the near future.

Tell him it's much to early to be talking about commitment and that the two of you still have quite a few years ahead of you before either of you can do something that serious. Also, give the ring back. There is no sense in keeping something that symbols something you are not ready to do just yet.

As for the cheating it is really up to you. If you do love him then I would tell him what you did, but if you don't find the relationship that serious then better to get out of it rather than share with him that news AND THEN break up with him. Best of luck.

wow i think he is serious. not quite a engagement ring but a promise of the future. he would probably be willing to wait a few years before you get married, if he can forgive you for cheating. you should tell him dont marry him with a lie like that between you. things have a funny way of comming out. and that is something that could cause more pain later when he finds out that your wedding vows were a mockery. if he truely loves you then he will forgive you and try to rebuild his faith in you. i hope things work out for you both. good luck.

Ok, If he is giving you a Diamond ring, Then yes, I do belivev he is serious. Also if you do not want to marry right away then you need to tell him you cheated on him. It will give you your 2 yrs for marriage, And him 2 yrs to see if you are really serious about him. Let him get the glory of you proveing yourself to him instead of vice versa.

if your bf just gave you a diamond ring it must mean he is serious about you
yes you should tell him that you dont want to get too serious yet... he deserves to know how you feel. And YES you should definitly tell him that you cheated on him!! He deserves to know that too! Everyone deserves a second chance so hopefully he will think that but you should get it over with and tell him instead of having him find out from someone else. I know you dont know me... but trust me, iv been throught this before. He trusts you and you would be taking that trust away if you dont tell him, so you shuld tell him now before its too late. He will understand if he truly loves you.

he prolly just wanted to do something nice for you. Some guys don't know how to express their feelings without getting you things. The ring might be his way of saying that he loves you and that he thinls that there may be a future in store for the 2 of you.

tell him how you feel! there is nothing worse than to think that someone loves you when they really don't. don't lead him on any further. honestly, it might hurt now, but what if you really did marry him! then, you'd prolly end up getting a divorce in awhile after a couple of miserable years. if you can't be faithful to him now, then you're not going to be faithful to him in the future.
