Hmmm...not the best of ideas to have them home removed, and are they due to be removed?
Phone the dentist who put them on, you may find its only a consulting fee to have them taken off as the bulk of the money would have been paid upfront.

Take My Braces Off

Contact the orthodontist that put them on. Most likely taking them off is part of the all ready paid fees for the braces. Don't try taking them off yourself--You might crack your teeth that would be much worse & painful.
Don't even consider this unless you are thinking of wanting dentures in the near future. I use to work as a dental assisant & this is not a good choice. You could really cause some dental problems in the future.

You COULD rip off the wires and maybe pry off some of the brackets. Yo'd have a harder time w/ the bands in the back....

You either wouldn't get it all, or you'd injure your teeth or gums.

the money issue isn't an issue! Call the orthodontist who put them on. Even if they arne't due to come off, s/he is ETHICALLY OBLIGATED to remove them at your request!!

This is like any other medical treatment! Let's say you have cancer and you and the docs decide on chemo-therapy. Let's say it seems to work. Then, a year later, the cancer returns, and you go back for more chemo, but then decide you just can't handle that anymore and would rather die in peace. They can't make you continue the treatment.

Poor Girl!!

I wanted to let you know about a company that offers up to 80% savings on your dental work for only $11.95 a month. They could save you a lot of money taking them off.
This also includes Free Prescription, Free Vision and Free Chiropractic Care. If you need any help or anything let me know. I could look up the closest dentist near you who accepts these benefits.

Good luck to you,
Christy

Call the orthodontist. The braces and adhesive have to come off. Shame on your parents. Good luck.

It is dangerous to take them off yourself. I would end up causing damage to your teeth. Therefore there is no way around it, you must go to the dentist. Tell them you need to set up a payment plan. They will set one up for you.

I would suggest finding the money to get them taken off correctly, by a professional. You could potentially have serious, even disfiguring injuries if you do it yourself.
