Estimated around $1,000, more or less. What you SHOULD be concerned about, is how far along the Parvovirus is, and if the treatment will actually work, for your dog. The only person who can answer THAT for you, is a veterinarian.
Until you get your dog to a vet, do NOT let him/her around other animals (including at the vet clinic).

Treatment for Parvo wouldn't cost you anything if you had put 50 dollars into getting your dog some shots. But, it will now cost you about $1500. On a plus note, many vets will accept payments towards your pets care. On the downside, if you actually stopped to ask this question then you do not deserve to be a pet owner. You should never, ever, get a pet unless you are willing to put some money into it's care. Dogs aren't status symbols or something to do in your spare time. Pets are for life and people who do not care for them should be banned from owning them.

If cost is a problem. Ask the vet for the home treatment. They will give you a bunch of supplies and a schedule of the meds and fluids. About every 2-3 days he will need to go back for fluids if you are not comfortable doing that. We were allowed to do this with our dog and the cost at the time was about $50.00

Parvo is a 50 / 50 survival rate. It is well worth it to treat the dog. And the sooner he is treated the better the survival rate.

Keep him in a large crate or small room and keep his area cleaned with soapy bleach water.

My dog is being treated at the moment for parvo, I had to put 150.00 down and it cost 75.00 each additional day she has to stay. So far she has been there6 days and vet called today to say she was showing signs of improvement. From what I have read from others on here the cost can vary from vet to vet. Good luck

I have had 2 puppies with parvo. The first I saved the second I put down. You can do the same as the vet. requires putting liquids down him. Usually throws it right back up. If he comes out of it he will in about 5 days. The vet will use an IV and keep him. Never did that because you can do the same thing with forcing liquids in him. A very hard experience. Good Luck

If the dog had gotten its series of shots to protect him u wouldnt have to worry about cost. parvo in a dog is a very horrible death and if they survive they can have severe neurological problems. different vets charge different prices. go to an emergency clinic asap and also ask what his chances of living without problems will be. do not delay. parvo is a bad killer and the dog suffers terribly

I had a little dog half chauhua, half dachtsun, and she got parvo about the same time my ex brother-in-law's rotwielder did.

The rotwielder was taken to the vet.

I kept my dog at home and just called the animal hospital to ask what to do about it.

He told me to get pedialyte and pepto bismol and give it to her every four hours.

So I bought a big syringe that came with a tube on the end and pumped a syringe full of pedialyte and a full syringe of pepto bismol down her stomach every four hours for 4 days and 3 nights.

My ex-brother-in-law's rotwielder died after one night in the vet.

My little dog survived.

Try that, it will be very exausting but it just may work for you as well. Good luck!

Your dog is diying, why arent you at the vet already getting your dog better, do you want your dog to get better or are you just concerned about money. If you got your dog its proper injections ( that by the way arent so expensive) you wouldnt be dealing with parvo however now you are which equals a very long road to recovery with plenty of money slipping through your pockets.

This will vary from vet to vet and in different areas/states/cities. You need to just go to the vet and get your puppy looked at first and foremost. This is a deadly disease, and postponing treatment only runs a greater risk of the puppy dying.

I am usually mellow, but their have been questions concerning humans, animals and sickness. And actually it bothers me that some do not respect their animals well being enough to take care of them on a level of thinking . Which means- if your child, or niece, or nephew, were this sick, would you hesitate getting them to emergency care? I am not saying that some of the questions are not okay. But some are no brainers. So my answer is to this one-a hole lot cheaper at $18.00-$33.00 to get the 7way vaccination in the first place.
