I want something special but I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard. They care a lot about me and are very supportive eventough I don't know them very well (they live abroad).
Any suggestions? Please!

1. Ask your boyfriend if it is appropriate at this point to send his parents a gift.

2. If you haven't properly established yourself first, a card should be fine.

Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

HEY VBB,

Walgreens can turn a photo into a puzzle, how about finding a pic of them together or an old pic of boyfriend and getting it put into a puzzle, will be nice in a frame. Simple but a nice thought.

If you're artistic at all... even if not.. it's always nice if you make someone something.. that way, even if they don't like it they could appreciate it because you made it with love. Candles are easy and useful.. the picture idea is good... a photo album is always nice.. keeps them up to date and involved in your lives.

I would send a very pretty, cut crystal candy dish and fill it with some wonderful, decadent candy. Elegant - but practical.

A very nice, high-end photo album is always nice.

A wonderful scented candle in a beautiful holder is nice.

You could go on-line and send a nice floral centerpiece with a candle in it. It is thoughtful without being too personal. I love a fresh centerpiece during the holidays.

A couple of music CDs or a gift card to Itunes store if they have an Ipod would be very much appreciated. Your boyfriend can tell you what kind of music they like, if you don't already know. These will also be easy to mail.

Find a show they might be interested in going to wherever they live. A musical or theatre production. And get them tickets for it. Very classy.

Take your boyfriend to the photographer's. Get a photo of the two of you taken and make an 8X10 print for them as a gift.
