im a guy and became friends with this girl shortly after she began dating someone. We became very close friends. a few months later she revealed to me that she had feelings for me other than as a friend. This presented a problem becasue of her current boyfriend. He does not treat her as she should, they constantly fight and he often yells at her. She will often lie to him in order to get out of being alone with him. I would love for her to leave him so that i can show her what its like to be treated right, but she can not decide what to do. btw she has been with this guy for about 6 months. ive known her for just over 5. any advice?

I think you should defiantly be her girl friend you seem like a great guy and if u genuinely care about her it would be unfair to leave her with her with a rude abusive boyfriend, if she does not like him then she should stop the dating now, it makes no sense to be with him when it will never work there is only one downside if you guys don't work as a couple there is a chance your friend ship will never be the same, give her a sholder to cry on and be there don't be desperate, but don't leave her this is when she needs you the most.

I think you should be a couple if you can be friends for 5 months then you can probley be a couple for a while to
GOOD LUCK!!!!^-^

Simply, tell her theres nothing else that can be done besidest he fact they she breaks up with her current boyfriend. Give her reasons why she should leave him for you. What do you have to offer her other than fighting anf fussing? Prove to her that not all guys are like that. Show her how much you care, and that you'll do whatever it takes to treat her right. If she is just holding onto this "relationship" while having feelings for you, it isn't fair to her boyfriend. It's better to give it to him now, before he gets too attached and she starts to like him all over again. Make your move.

Obviously she's confused. She knows how you feel now it's up to her to make that decsion. The other guy must be doing something right for her tostay with him. She's a fool if she stays with him and not you, Goodluck and just show her the proper way a woman should be treated. If she has brains she'll dump the chump for her night in shining armour.

You know what, if you are a shoulder to cry on great kind of guy, just by being arounnd and treating her in a very poative way, she will definetly groew attracted to you. If there are no kids between the 2 of them than this is easy as cake for you., it just takes time and patience. Good luck1

You should just beat the guy up because the way he treats his girlfriend and you should wait till she comes to you and if she does not then you should tell her that you have feelings for her too and go out with her and treat her like a real man would do like you. GOOD LUCK!

Well, you definitely sound like a very nice guy! And I'm sure that eventually, she'll realize that and leave that guy for you.

Really, there's not much you can do about it, other than voice your concerns to her that you're worried about her. You can't push into getting rid of her current guy, or she could resent you for it. You just have to give her time and be there for her, and soon she'll see the light and who she really belongs with.

Best of luck, I'm sure it'll turn out awesome! :)

If she really wanted to be with you then she would leave this bf. I wouldn't hang around and wait. I would put a little distance between you two, I don't mean ignore her but let her know you are not gonna just wait around forever...she needs to make a decision.

Why is she still with someone who treats her so terrible? Is she afraid of him? Ask her and offer to help her get a restraining order if necessary.

do u love her?wat is ur feelings for her?thats the biggest question.. u know dont mistook pity for love.. theyre different. if u do love the girl y dont u fight for her?ur ryt wen in saying girls shudnt be treated like dat..tell the girl that she deserve to be happy.. if she cant take wat the guys kept on doing to her maybe its better to let go.. its easier to let go than to keep hoping that the guy will change.. or y dont u tell the girl to have a heart to heart talk with his bf? tell him wat she really feel. theres nothing wrong in being honest. hope i help u with my little advice.

Pray.

And just be there for her. You may find a way to intervene.

Start working out, and practice your fighting, in case you have to "rescue" her.
