Should the United States build a canal as a border? Something modest. Let's say 100 feet deep by 1/2 mile wide.
=)

good idea and we'll make them start from this side while building it, so when they finish it, they'll be on the other side and can't come back over lol lol lol

Nope. Put out a national call for volunteers to go and build the US/Mexico border fence.

A little poetic justice is appropriate...don't you think!

I think it is a great idea. Lets import them from Guatemala and pay them well....They deserve a little help because of the vile way they are treated as "guest workers" when they are in Mexico. Let's not pay illegal Mexicans anything else...they've drained enough.

No.
A canal would be a collosal waste of time & resources.
How about this.
Bring all the personnel back from Iraq, and post them on both of our borders.
They are already on payroll, plus they could be home for the holidays. Think about it.
