Sit down and talk to him, tell him that you feel things aren't going the way you thought they would and your feelings for him aren't as serious as his are with you. Tell him you would like to take a break for awhile so you can do some thinking. Do that and if you still feel the same way after a week or two let him know it's over.

Well, you should NEVER stay together with a person if you just feel sorry for them, it just makes it all worse. Just talk to him, tell him honestly that you feel as if your love for him has changed into just friend love. Tell him you still want to be friends but you don't want to be in a relationship with him.

Tell him you don't feel the same and it's time to move on. Tell him about the cheating if you had unprotected sex. Otherwise, telling him would just be hurtful.

just tell him straight out.you may not think this is right but you owe him to tell him the truth. it may hurt him but it is better that you tell him the truth right away, and no longer keep the charade going it isn't fair to the unsuspecting parties.
