There is no parent in the world who doesnt want the best for their child.

You might think your parents dont know, havent been there, havent done that, but guess what?

The have...They were once your age..

and Im sure they felt the same way you do in a time of their lives.

if your paents say you are too young,, then you are !

eventhough you might think the contrary to that.

There is plenty time for everything, the is a time to be a child, an adolecent, a teenager, and an adult.

unfortunately, now a days...having a boyfreind implies having sex, and sex is not an open your legs and done with it thing.

Im sorry for being blunt, but now adays there is so much teenage pregnancy, single mothers, and messed up lifes.

Sweety, live your age, enjoy yourself, enjoy the time you can be protected by your parents.

our parents will not be around for ever, and before you know it, you will be grown up and hearing the same thing coming out of your own daughter's mouth

and as a parent, its scarry, and hard to let our child learn from his or her mistakes, we want to protect them from everyone and everything out there..

I dont know you and could tell you,,,to go for it and the hell with your parents, but

I have a 13 year old daughter, and I will give my life for her and and do anything I can to keep her from being hurt by anybody especially by some young kid who tells her he loves her.

And I hope that if my daughter seek an opinion out there like you have,,,someone will guide her right back to me

and will allow me to keep her under my wing for as long as I can.

Good Luck....and remember never to turn you back on your mom....she will always be your best freind!

How old are you? In general, parents know what is best for their kids. I learned this the very hard way. If you really love him and he loves you, you guys should develop a great friendship in this time while you are not allowed to date. The relationships that work the best and founded on friendships anyway. Don't rush dating.

I think you should totally ignore your parents and sneak out of the house and date him. Next thing you know, you'll be pregnant, probably drinking and maybe doing drugs, and within a few years, you'll be a single mom (your boyfriend will dump you like a hot potato the instant he finds out you're preggers, unless he talks you into an abortion). You'll most likely drop out of school and live on food stamps in some trailer park somewhere, wondering where you're gonna get your next pack of smokes...

Sound grim? Yeah, it would pretty much suck to be you at that point. But hey, at least you can take pride in the fact that you REALLY showed your mom who was in charge! She'll be so proud.

You will have to do what your parents ask. you live under their roof, are underage and eat their food, so you are obliged to follow their rules.
if this guy really likes you as much as you say he will be there when you are allowed to date in two or three years. If he is not there then know that the relationship was never meant to last and he just wanted to get in your pants.

Dating, and haveing a boyfriend are two seperate things. Dont go on a real date with him. It wont matter if he is just your boyfriend. My advise is if you want a date with him, bump into him at a football game. Hey, it just so happened he was here!

Ahh...looks like you'll have to go behind your parents back like kids have been doing for hundreds of years. Try not to get caught.
