you know, i'm adopted too and i have been thinking about finding my birth parents also. first thing you should so is research on the internet and find out your states laws on adoption. i live in Kansas and here, when you're 25, you can get copies of your adoption records. there are other states that do it also, but i don't know which ones.

I gave up a daughter when i was 19.. there was a lot of things working against me at the time and I regretted doing it, but let me say this that sometimes its harder to give up a baby than to keep it and they may be just waiting for you to contact them because of feelings of guilt or whatever... anyway i found my daughter when she turned 18 through the adoption centre and an organization called "Jigsaw". Try asking over the net but I'm not sure exactly how becoz I don't know where you are etc... good luck... and I hope yours has a happy ending/beginning.

well you have the adoption paper trail.
but always remember, your real parents are those who raised and love you.
understand?
both of my siblings are adopted. in one case we know the mother.
I mean, like we talk to eachother.
the other one, we don't even have the name.
but both of them know that we are their family, because we love them, and that's what family is about.

ok in order to find this kind of thing out, you would have to contact the state of birth and request your adoption information, birth records &ct. from these you *may* and probably will be able to track your birthparents down. but don't forsake your real family in the process. ask them for help. they should be open and willing to assist you in this endevour if it means that much to you.

Try going to Google and type in your birth name, you will be amazed at what comes up. Perhaps one of you siblings is looking for you. It worked for me anyway. If you know what town you were born in that might help too.................good luck

It's not possible, unless you look at your birth certificate, which should list their names.
