no, when I contracted it, it was from drinking out of a glass that someone else had who had mono. Never again!!!

My Partner just went to the Dr's for a throat problem and the Doc. said that it might be strept or mono and that mono can even be breathed in....so I would say yes you can but the hug might have to be pro-longed..... :(

Mono comes from drinking after somebody or kissing somebody with mono. It can also come from water fountains. If you have strep throat it can turn into mono if left untreated in some cases.

No, it used to be called the "kissing" disease because it gets spread through blood and saliva
