I am going through the same problem with my son. Hey people can put up with you in everyway but attitudes will definitely cause major problems. Put yourself in check and get rid of any attitudes and change the way you respond to things and your dad will see a difference and tolerate you better. Now tell him you are not even please with yourself and want to do better and you are sorry for hurting him and dad let's mend the pieces and he will know that you are serious. Now do not forget to ask him to forgive you. The bible says to obey your parents so that your days on the earth may be prolonged cause this is right in the eyesight of God.

My daughters and I always had some little spats. We sometimes said things we didn't mean. I was short on patience and they sometimes needed an attitude adjustment. Spend some quality time with him. Try to look at things from his point of view. And ask him to do the same. Pray for each other. It works wonders. My 2 girls are the greatest.

Avoid him for a while so he can cool down. Help around the house, don't tell him you done the dishes just let him see with his own eyes that you don't have an attitude and you see the error of your ways. He is your dad he does not mean what he said he was just angry. Give it a couple of days a then try talk to him.
