I defenitelly don't speak arabic fluently but my boyfriend is arabic. I asked him and the correct way is habibi.
Sometimes it seems that you can see one word written in thousands of ways but it's understandable when not using "real" arabic letters...
Anyway, just say habibi and keep saying it often. Having an own habibi is nice, isn't it :)
Love & peace, XX

As long as you pronounce it tha same way, it means the same thing.
I write it Habibi so that people don't say Ha-Bay-Bay.
Peace.

These days you can learn how to speak Arabic over the internet. Check out this online course, it's voted as the best Arabic online course of all time: http://www.rocketlearner.com/arabic The course is very easy to follow, I was able to learn Arabic in just 3 months.
I live in New York City, I wanted to go to a Arabic language teacher but that would have cost me over $800 per month. Good thing with this internet, $800 it's a lot of money for me.
