Well I am currnetly dating an officer, and from what he says... they dont tend to date thier own, he says most of the have prefernces like dating a nurse or a teacher or someone who is still involved in community work.

Most cops here date other cops, they don't want to deal with the stress of a relationship with someone who doesn't know what the job is like. I don't go for girls, but, I don't date non-cops.
My fiance is a cop, a Sergeant to be specific. Great to have someone who knows what the job is like.

No, most cops I know date/marry nurses and other medical professions type people, and some date and marry other cops. My wife was a cop when I met her. Since our children were born, she quit, mainly because she said she didn't want both of us working the streets.

There aren't any police officers in our town that date "their own kind". We only have male officers.

not really . i know a few who wants to date " outside of their work circle "........ makes them really enjoy the relationship .......lets them have a life outside of their work .
