Yes.
The First Commandment forbids idolatry.
Man commits idolatry whenever he honors and reveres a creature in place of God, whether this be gods or demons (for example, satanism), power, pleasure, race, ancestors, the state, money, etc.
In the lands that surrounded Israel, there were many who worshiped false gods including the Egyptians. Later the Jews had to deal with the Greek and Roman gods and goddesses worshiped by their Governors and occupying forces.
Today people put many things in front of God in their lives including money, status, self, power, etc.
With love in Christ.

Very much a sin. Why would she want to, a singer is just a person, sometimes not even a very good person, God gave them the talent.
If she worships a person she must think that person is better than she, they are not.

It is a sin to worship anyone but God. That is in the Ten Commandmants. "Thou shalt have no other god before Me." That would include singers, actors, whatever.

Yes.
The worship of anyone or anything other than God is idolatry and that is a sin.
Not only that but it also goes against the first commandment.

dont know about sin but definately pointless unless your singer/artist is actually making strong changes to the world, sharing their wealth with the needy, assisting with environmental issues (and i mean assisting not sticking a picture of them planting a tree on a billboard) contributing to medical science (and i mean doing it before they themselves are diagnosed with a terminal disease) but youll find most singers/artists are just greedy and couldnt give a crap about any thing if it doesnt line their pockets.

I believe that breaks one of the ten commandments, if you worship them as a god.

It's pretty stupid, at the very least. Most of them are on a lower order, in my opinion.
