Good evening. I am making the all-time favorite treat, Rice Krispie Squares, and would like to dress them up a little.

Looking for suggestions. Can I pour chocolate over the finished square? Peanuts? What?

Please give me your best add-on for this treat.

Thanks.

You can mix in choc late chips, M&M's, nuts and other cerals (like fruity pebbles, cocoa pebbles, fruit loops, etc.. You can drizzle with choclate, carmel, etc.. or you could dip it in choclate like a 1/2 and 1/2 cookie. Hope this gets you inspired.

I always add peanut butter to the melted marshmallows and stir to mix well. Then add your rice krispies. I add 2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter, but this is flexible according to how strong you want the peanut butter flavor to be. I've been making these for my son's birthday since he was a little boy. He still loves them and anyone that eats them just rave about the taste.

Mix in coconuts, caramel, or apple cubes. Diced cherries add a bit of color. Those have always been a hit. Or pour melted peanut butter on top of the finished squares before cutting. Putting honey and then dusting with coco-powder or powder sugar on the top works as well.

My favorite is to substitute 1 cup of the rice crispies with fruity pebbles. Don't pour chocolate on them, after you put the mix in the pan and flatten it out, pour a bag of chocolate chips on it and melt them a little in the oven. Spread it out with a rubber spatula

try putting some chocolate on top, and sprinkle baking M&Ms on top of it

try peanut butter on top with chocolate chips on top of that

while its still hot, put hot cinnamon candies on top, and they will stick it would taste yummy

also, if you like chocolate alot try using cocoa crispies instead of rice crispies, and it works the same but their chocolate.
