When your only defense is "We are good people", that usually means there is something else that is very strange about your family that masks the "good"ness of the family....hence the need for you to point out that you are good people.

People laugh at people every day. It's just human nature. Some do it because they have issues themselves and others do it just to make and hear themselves laugh. We all have done it. People also laugh and make fun of others because they are jealous of other people and what they have. It doesn't matter if you are good people or not, there will always be somebody out there who will laugh at you and others as well.

They have no mirrors in their houses and they never saw their own faces before.There is no reason laughing at your family for anything. We are all human beings and carry our scars physical,emotional, visible or unvisible.Decent people don't make fun of others because they seem to be different. Be proud of your family. Above all is love!!!

people laugh at your family ssometimes because they are trying to hold in the pain about you having the better family. sometimes they laugh them because your family makes them laugh.

Hon, I know the feeling (sort of).
However, as a Sasquatch, they usually run away when they spot us. Hey, we are good folk too! We have never hurt a human!
Sometimes, people are just people! Sometimes they are mean! I do not know the answer to your question as I do not know you. Likewise, humans don't know us!
