I stole candybars from a store that I never told anyone about. It still bothers me when I think about it because it was so blatant and I just knew I was going to be caught but I wasn't.

Get it off your mind now that you have told more than one. Do not just be child anymore. If you think you are still bothered by it, maybe you should try to find if that store is still there and tell the owner what you did ages ago. See if he will charge you for that and then say you won't do it again. If the store is no longer there or it was taken over by a new owner. Consider yourself lucky and forgive yourself by doing something good to others which you think is worth the same price.

I took about four or five peanuts in the shell when I was real little. When my mum and I were in the check out lane, I showed her what I had. I received two beatings, one in the check out lane and one at the bin where I took the peanuts from. After my dad got home from work, I received a third beating after my mum told him what happened. Never stole again.

Sin is not old but something that one commits. Here is one event you might considered. John 8:3-11 with emphasis on 8:7.

Leaving my sister, who is 3 years younger than I, out of the games we played with the other kids! I let her sit and watch us! I did get caught, and I felt awful!
She and I still talk about it, many many years ago, and we have a chuckle over it!

If you have confessed it then forget it. Jesus doesn't think about it anymore and neither should you.
I John 1;9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Everyone has sinned, no one is perfect. God will not save anyone inspite of themselvs. But if you do what God wont's you to do he will save you and be in your corner forever. First you must find out what you must do.
