Malaya? I admit to not being sure. Someone who was complaining about providing this boy with a better life made the point that now we'll know where this country is. I agree. How much do we really know about what's going on in Africa?
It appears that this boy's father agreed to hand over his parental rights to Madonna for his son's benefit.
Assuming this is true, what a courageous and loving thing to do for your child.
Who cares if Madonna wants to adopt the entire third world - as long as the children are helped? Who cares if Dad was paid? That's a trickier question, but still leaves a little boy with a chance to live beyond his third birthday.
"We" know next to nothing about the slaughter, slavery, starvation and hatred that are engulfing Africa today. And "we" certainly aren't doing anything about it.
