It depends on the type of HMMWV and type of round. If its a normal M998 (non-armored) most types of rounds can penetrate it since it has plastic doors and fiberglass hood. If its the new M114 (Up-Armored), the armor is sufficient to stop 7.62mm rounds. Both styles of HMMWV have run-flat tires which allow the tire to deflate and still be drivable for a few more miles.

depends on the bullet fired, a 22 short can not but a 50 cal can.

Depends on whether they have been equipped with body armor. at the beginning of the Iraq war most were not and that was a big problem, but now most have the necessary body armor.

yes any cal. can unless it is an up armor, if it is one of these it take a large cal. round to Punch through.
