Wow, no I haven't heard of that. But it makes sense, because Peter was crucified upside down, just as your friend said. So the cross they are wearing is like a symbol for St. Peter. It would be like wearing a symbol for any other saint.
What I wonder about is why they would choose to wear a cross of St. Peter rather than the cross of Christ. But that is their choice. Perhaps they are inspired by the story of Peter's crucifixion, since he refused to be crucified in the manner of Cross. So perhaps it serves as a reminder to them of the uniqueness of Christ's own suffering, and of how to be a good Christian like Peter.
I think that in this case, one ought to try to understand the reasons behind this St. Peter's cross, and not automatically condemn the practice just because Satanists also use an upside down cross. In the case of the Satanist, their reasons are not holy. While in the case of this St. Peter's cross, the reasons are noble.

I have never heard of anyone wearing the cross upside down, but I have heard about when ST Peter was crucified up side down before, because he request it, but I believe it is a form form of Satanism, because no one should have any carvings of any Idols.

No, never heard of it but, I do know that St. Peter was crucified upside down. It still is bothersome that they have someone else on the cross than Jesus. It is Jesus' crucifixion by which we are saved, not Peters.

I'm familiar with the concept of Peter being crucified up-side down, but never heard of a church that does it. It is traditionally considered " Satanic " amongst Christian churches to display an inverted cross. Of course, the next big question would be, why are they worshiping Peter and not God?

It has been long believed that St Peter did indeed request to be crucified upside down, if this is only legen, I cannot say. But it would make some sense if a Church was named after St. Peter that they could wear such remembrances such as that. You should ask your friend more about what it means to him, why he wears it.

Your friend is correct. Paul (your friend says Peter, but I thought it was Paul) was crucified upside down (not being crucified as his Lord is a myth that may or may not be true, but more people were crucified upside down or sideways than rightside up). Paul started the Catholic Church, and his remains are rumored to be in the catacombs underneath the Vatican.

I have heard that St. Peter did request this, but about this church, never heard of it. You'd think if they were really Christians they would be worshipping Jesus. I suggest looking up the Church of St. Peter on the web and see if they give you any information.
They may be ligit, they may be a cult, check it out if you want but be careful don't want to get messed up in something shady.Take care

Besides the fact that Acts 15; 10 says to abstain from idols, wouldn't this be a form of creature worship wearing an image of another human. Just the fact that Satanists use this same inverted crucifex should keep one from doing anything that might be linked with them.

First and foremost, Id refrain from any religious group that values Peter as much as they would JESUS CHRIST.
the importance should be on JESUS CHRIST not celebrating one of HIS apostles, and as for wearing a crucifix upside down, well isnt that indirectly adding more emphasis on Peter circumstance than on CHRIST's death and resurrection?
Almost attempts to cloud the issue, and the only issue should ever be JESUS CHRIST fulfilling the prophecies.
but then again, any idiot can establish a relgious organization nowadays
