I have not had any children, and eat healthier and workout more than before age 25. It seems like after 25 - my hips got wider. For me, the , the only way to combat is run, run, run (along with my weight training). If you are older than 40 or 50, what ages did you notice particular changes. Just wondering..... I'd like to be prepared :)

i'm 30. have 2 kids and gained weight after my second one. Difficult to lose it, since the metabolism also slows down.., find that i need to really watch what i eat along with excercising, which wasn't the case before. Anyway,.. life just goes on...

My body is just plain tuckered out at 55 but I keep pushing it. I did aerobics, biking and running in my 20's, dance, walking and aerobics in my 30's, still walked 5 miles per day or more through my 40's, golfed, weight trained and yoga. In my 50's my walking has slowed to 3 miles several days per week because of a chronic hip bursitis, pilates, yoga and golf. I started out at 5'8 and 123 pounds at 20. Had 4 kids. Went to 135 in my 30's, 145 in my 40's and now 155. I am still pretty solid but achy.

At 30, i woke up with grey hair. At 35, my metabolism slowed something fierce and the hair is really grey. It's kinda like reverse puberty in slow motion. And i do know that in time, all breasts deflate entirely if they're not surgically enhanced. Just not sure at what age yet. :)

I am 40 now, and noticed big problems at age 38, but then I have had a lot of stress since then: Mom's cancer + my job stinks. So I have issues with cortisol and abdominal fat that won't go away.

Sigh....
