You are not going to find a new ford for under $500. If you happen to find a used one it will more than likely have major collision damage or will be missing a motor, transmission or both. You can always look in your local paper, checkout craigslist, and check into local auctions in your area.

As indicated above, You won't find much that is preety, but that doesn't really matter now does it...
www.craigslist.org is an outstanding resource, try freecycle.org also, but freecycle is hit and miss.
I got my 1986 F350 Diesel Dually off of Craigslist, (1500.00) and it will still bark the tires. :)
I just found several trucks listed there that are going for less than 700.00, One Chevy is going to a buddy, for 300.00
