I say that goes back to the guys line of pretty much spreading their seed as far and into many chicks as they can. Pretty much the same in the animal kingdom. Its very rare that any male of the species mates with any one female for life. And females just need that one provider and protector. They don't need to spread seed or anything else. They work off of connections rather than how many times and how many people they can have sex with.

That is a true statement sometimes.Now in 2006 around the world,girls have more than one partner too.Not everybody,but there are some men and women;who have more than one partner.Good question.
