Kittens should be able to visit a littler box at the age of four or five weeks. A good way to get them acustomed to using a litter box is putting the box close to wherever the mother keeps her babies. They'll get the idea by watching mom do her thing and picking up the sent from the litter pan. It's how I trained all my kittens. Good luck to you!

Hi there. We found kittens in our backyard in June and we estimated that they were about 5 weeks at the time. In about 2 weeks, they started learning how to use the litter box on their own. All we did was stick them in the litter box and they instinctively went to the bathroom and even covered it up! I would suggest always having a litter box full of clean litter around because its better that they go in there rather than your couch :)

Kittens have a natural instinct to be clean. Most will train themselves to use the litter box by the time they're 12 weeks old.

Right away. They must be set in the litter box as the first place they touch in your house... Leave them in there and let them come out when they want... I'd say 1 mo old.

When they can walk and jump in the litter box keep it very clean. My little Buster just did what her Momma cat showed her. I didn't have to do a thing. Good luck

ok. this worked 4 me....
get a small cardboard box they could easily step into...line in with newspaper or a bag of some sort. sit the cats in it..individually, just so they know its there. when the cats do a 'no-no' spank him lightly and sit them in the box. eventually they will be able to move to a full size litter box. the younger they learn the better. it took my cats 5 days..

kittens usually learn from their mom to use the litter box, and will probably start checking it out as soon as they start toddling around

you can put a litter box near, show it to them, and if their legs are to short you can make a little makeshift ramp for them to get in.most cats will self train once they know were the box is.usually around 3mo.

Around five to six weeks, you should be training them. Once they start eating kitten food, they need to be!

IF THEY CAN GET INTO IT THEY CAN AND WILL USE IT CATS PREFER TO COVER UP AND HIDE THEIR WASTES JUST AS SOON AS THE ARE UP AND AROUND SHOW IT TO THEM AND KEEP IT CLEAN AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEM IN THAT DEPARTMENT UNLESS YOU SOMEHOW OFFEND THEM THEY CAN HAVE A WARPED SENSE OF HUMOR BUT IF YOU GIVE THEM LOTS OF LOVE AND CARE THEY WILL RETURN IT WITH EVERYTHING THEY HAVE
