i'm 27 and i find the guys act mature in the beginning, then when it comes to the hard times in the relationship, they can't handle it and leave

they say they want something serious, and they aren't like other guys their age that wanna run around. Maybe i'm too naive and giving them chances. I take them as they are, in school, and don't have jobs cause those things aren't important to me. I'm always the one to support and want to help them get to where they wanna be, in hopes of me being the one by their side in the end...

Depends on your age and what you are looking for.

And also on the person, there are some mature 22 year olds, but there are also some who shouldn't be let out alone!

If you are looking for some fun, a younger man and a good time, then no, I don't think you are destined for failure. If you are looking to meet a breadwinner and have babies, then maybe you need to consider older men too.

Best of luck (and have fun!)

Not that their is anything wrong with a 27 year old to date younger guys at 22. But I do think you are setting yourself up for relationship failure. Because most guys at that age only want to have fun and not settle down.

I try not to dole out too much advice without knowing the person well enough. But in this case, I would have to say that you are. Because guys around 22 years old aren't ready for anything serious, they may say that they are, but as we know guys would say just about anything to get laid. I know thats a bit mean to say, but look at it from a guy's prospective, especially a young guy, all he is seeing is the older hot woman wanting a relationship with him. So he'll act grown up enough til he gets in her pants, and then after a few rounds of sex, he'll drop her and run off and tell his friends about the great sex he had with some older chick. So a bit of advice is try going in the other direction, we already know that guys don't fully mature, but try dating someone around your age group or a bit older. They may have much more to offer and treat you like you deserve to be treated.

There are a rare handful of persons ready to be held responsible to a lasting relationship at such a young age--they are still trying to figure out how come the laundry is piled up and not done (like when they were at home) you yourself are still young and maybe or not ready to settle down --you need to look in places where the mind set is more on a looking for a future not just till the next Friday night adventure--

First - she is married and has infants! you won't be able to marry her. And, she is only too old for you. i'm 40 5 and might't even start to understand desirous to be with a 22 twelve months old (no offense, yet you should be my son - eeuuwwww!). end messing with a married woman and mom of four please! Rule of thumb for age variations for couples. Take your age, divide it in a million/2 and upload 7 - it extremely is the youngest individual you may even evaluate relationship or having a romantic relationship with. **Logan - in case you do the mathematics from the 'rule of thumb' formula - a fifty 4 twelve months old individual's youngest 'date' is 34. You pronounced you're 38. i'm uncertain what isn't real for you? The age element is a stable handbook because of the fact it bargains with subjects of adulthood and the cycles we circulate with the aid of in existence. The age span widens significantly for older human beings. Do the mathematics and you will see what I propose.

As a 700+ year old Sasquatch, I too like younger women (or in your case, men - No. I don't like men).

Most folk today say that it is okay for an "older" person to ask a younger person out.

As to a relationship failure, I guess that depends on what both parties are seeking in a relationship. Friendship, sex, marriage?

Depends on you and the other party!

Not necessarily, there are some really mature men of 22. Equally some at 40 or 50 are worthless as mud.

no, it depends on the guy. When I was 19, I was about to date a 22 year old and he seemed serious about things. It all depends on what you mean by "failure".

I don't know how old you are and it depends on what you are looking for in a relationship.
