Buy a punch bag and if it is a certain thing or person that is making you angry then I'd put a photo of them on it and start hitting it as hard as u can till you have let off enough steam. you really need to get to the root of the problem first though, keep a diary about when u get angry and start with when the feeling started, what you done about the feeling ? and why were u so angry ? I hope this helps you, you probably think I'm just babbling on a load of shi** but that's a solution one of my psychologist's gave me to finding out where my anger was coming from and what the main problem was. good luck and stay calm.........

exercise can help sometimes. It is a way of using the negative energy in a positive way instead ofbecoming violent for example. Do things that might relax you, like a hot bath with lavender or listen to music. Increase your rest and avoid alcohol when feeling this way. Try and put yourself at a distance from the situation and don't let it totally consume you. There is more than that situation going on in your life. Focus on the positive aspects. Maybe it would help if you noted down your angry feelings and keep them for yourself. Good luck. I know it's a hard one to work on.

What is the point of getting all upset and angry over something that is really trivial, you just make yourself look an idiot and upset yourself. How many arguments do people get into that are not any of their business if you sat down and thought about why you get so upset you may realise you get angry just for the hell of getting angry and upsetting all those around you also .yourself.Try to keep out of arguments and chill out, life will be a lot easier for you then. Good luck.

It's OK to be angry for a while, the real question is what are you going to do with it? Provided you don't do anything rash or hurtful that upsets others, then be absolutely angry for a while.
I often use anger to make me work faster (I work manually), or I go running. It's great for fitness. Even just go somewhere that you can scream as loud as possible for a while.
When you've released the pent up bit, find something physically active but mentally undemanding to do while you think through how you could handle the situation next time it occurs. When you've come to a resloution, you'll feel great.

I thought testosterone was the cause of bad tempers, maybe u have too much of it running around in your system but i do feel your GP could help you out if u mentioned this to him. Go for a walk somewhere or go to the gym for a full workout and take it out of yourself that way. I'd not suggest drinking alcohol though since its a depressant and might make u feel worse plus no good for your health.

Normally I throw myself into sport and go for a run or go to the gym,if I'm in a situation where I can't just get up and go I bite my lip and be quiet as it takes two to argue and if I'm quiet then there's only so long someone can carry on ranting on. I also think about something positive like the last time something made me laugh but try not to smile of course.

I fly into a great calm, imagine the person I am angry with naked and without their clothes, which is always a bit amusing, and remind myself that I like me, I think I'm fun and nice to be with and I may not be the best looking person in the world but I'm still the best me there is, and let's move right along.
I take myself out of the situation to someplace that is not so stressful, and leave the stressed ones to deal with it the best way they can.

Deal with the real underlying issue. Many times people don't fight about what is really the issue. Take the time to look at what is making you angry - also think about this - put it in perspective, does what I am angry about really going to matter in a day, week, month or a year from now? Many times we are mad at things about ourselves that we are unwilling to deal with or change. Make peace with your demons.

Don't watch telly (apart of fawlty towers and father Ted)
