I've been on a BBQ pork rib kick lately. This is how I do it:

Using paring knife to help, pull fascia membrane from underside of ribs. This step is not easy, the membrane is quite slippery, using partially frozen ribs may help. Start with the narrowest end of rib rack and slide the paring knife along the bone to get the membrane started, once started, the membrane can be removed in one piece.

Rub ribs with sea salt, garlic powder, red and black pepper, cumin, and yellow mustard powder. Allow rubbed ribs to stand until room temp. Meanwhile prep a kettle grill with charcoal ( no way with gas grill ) I prefer real lump charcoal and wood chips for smoke. The usual briquets can be used to get the fire going. Once coals are established, scatter them to the sides of the kettle and place water bath roasting pan in center of kettle. Place ribs in heavy duty foil on grill over water bath pan. Keep lid on grill.

Occasionally place wood chips on coals for smoke, or create a foil packet to wrap chips and poke holes in to allow smoke to escape. Slow cook 3+ hours, adding charcoal to perimeter of grill to keep indirect heat going. Meanwhile, make BBQ sauce.

1 medium onion chopped fine
1 1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup fruit juice ( I always change the kind of juice for variety, but try orange, POM pomegranate juice blends, etc )
lemon zest of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup brown sugar
black pepper
2 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tblsp chili powder
1 tblsp garlic powder
2 tsp Tabasco sauce

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and simmer until desired consistency is achieved. Apply sauce to ribs during the last 15 minutes of cooking with basting brush. Enjoy!!!

i'm making some myself precise now! the final way i've got got here upon is to boil first for roughly 10-20 minutes, until very almost executed. Season with Lawry's season salt, black pepper, garlic powder, enable cool and rub the seasons into the beef extremely stable. place on the grill and enable grill turning approximately each 10-15 minutes. turn with tongs, no longer a fork to maintain the juices in. while they are grilled on your style, baste on bbq sauce. you choose for to attend until they are very almost waiting to be faraway from the grill, in any different case the sauce will only burn. turn and baste the different side, I oftentimes turn and baste a minimum of two-thrice to get the flavour extremely into the beef. I do have my own sauce that i make, yet while i supply you that recipe i could ought to seek you down and delay you! get exhilaration from!!

OVEN BBQ RIBS

INGREDIENTS
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
5 pounds pork spareribs
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup thinly sliced onions
2 cloves garlic, pressed
2 (8 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with juice
1 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 lemon, sliced into rounds
DIRECTIONS
Pour beer and water into a large stock pot. Add salt and stir to dissolve. Bring mixture to a boil over medium high heat.
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Sear ribs on both sides. Place on paper towels to briefly drain. Add seared ribs to the beer/water mixture. Add more water as needed to cover the ribs. Cover pot and simmer for 2 hours.
While the ribs are simmering, melt the butter in a sauce pan and saute the onions and garlic until onions are translucent. Stir in tomatoes, ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire, mustard, salt, hot pepper sauce and vinegar. Bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and leave it simmering until the ribs are finished.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Drain ribs and arrange them in a shallow roasting pan, or pans. Ladle the sauce over the ribs evenly, slice each slice of lemon in half, and distribute the half slices on top of the sauce. Cover with foil loosely, and place in the oven for 15 minutes, and then uncover for the last 10, a total of 25 minutes oven time. Remove rind from lemon slices, discard rind, returning lemon "meat" to sauce on top of the ribs, and serve ribs covering each with sauce on the plate.

AMAZING BABY BACK RIBS

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
3 pounds baby back pork ribs
1 cup barbeque sauce
DIRECTIONS
Preheat grill for high heat.
In a small jar, combine cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Close the lid, and shake to mix.
Trim the membrane sheath from the back of each rack. Run a small, sharp knife between the membrane and each rib, and snip off the membrane as much as possible. Sprinkle as much of the rub onto both sides of the ribs as desired. To prevent the ribs from becoming too dark and spicy, do not thoroughly rub the spices into the ribs. Store the unused portion of the spice mix for future use.
Place aluminum foil on lower rack to capture drippings and prevent flare-ups. Lightly oil grate, and lay ribs on top rack of grill. Reduce heat to low, close lid, and leave undisturbed for 1 hour. Do not lift lid at all.
Brush ribs with barbecue sauce, and grill an additional 5 minutes. Serve ribs as whole rack, or cut between each rib bone and pile individually on a platter.
