I believe perhaps so since we are made in God's image.
Therefore Our Ghost is in his image.
When we die on earth we appear to be seen as Ghost on earth.
so if the Holy Ghost wanted to show him self, for what ever reason, perhaps someone ask to see the Holy Ghost since the Holy Ghost does come to us.

I felt the Holy Spirit times before, but I think it was the Holy ghost I seen, half an hour later after my prayer that I wanted to see it.

Hello inteleyes.. :)

No..no one has every seen the Holy Ghost for He is a Spirit sent by Jesus, so the Holy Ghost is a gift to us from God, not from us..

He dwells within our hearts, He is our teacher, comforter and our advocate..

I am here for you anytime.. :)

He is Spirit. If he revealed himself, we couldn't see him. But he has no reason to reveal himself. God revealed himself in his Son, and those who know his Son are sent the Spirit. That is, those who have faith have the Spirit revealed to their souls. Any revelation to the eyes is irrelevant, not to mention un-Scriptural. It sounds like you're doing some pointless wishful thinking with this one.

We don't hang around on earth as ghosts after we die, either.

When you say we were created in God's image, the meaning of this statement is difficult to understand. First of all, I guess most believers agree that God is not a physical entity with shape or form.
What could this statement possibly mean?
Are both men and women God's image?
Does he have arms and legs?
Please!

YES! I did, as it so happens. There was this very devout person by the name of Tereliya (I remembered because his name in Ukrainian means "Plate") anyway, while he was speaking to a crowd of people in Russia or the Ukraine, a dove landed on his head and stayed there until the speech was over. In the meantime, someone took a picture, and this is the thing I saw. The dove was really cute!

During the "old testament" times God was seen by Abraham and Moses. I do not believe God is seen by anyone in our day and time.

If you are made in God's image, then you must be a God too.
