I would choose a private island- that is a dream right?
mm i have lived on a island before- in the torres straits (hey what can i say i school teachers kid?)
Ideally the island would be in north queensland and i could be self sufficent without too much effort, but I would need to have money so that i could get a barge to deliver books and newspapers monthly along with anything else i might need.
i.e choclate, fishing gear, etc... grin
oh that and also be in range of pay tv so i can still watch the test cricket etc... oh but that is an added bonus not a essential.
anyway thats me- 2nd choice is a farm somewhere that is green, sick of the brown state of queensland at the moment
Would live overseas but love the convience of everything in australia, not to mention the laid back nature of australians- from travelling overseas i realise just how lucky we are.

I think I would choose not to settle anywhere... I would travel and see what I could see and then settle later.
