Just say: "I really really like you". See what transpires after that, it isn't difficult, it's not rocket science, and if he is your friend then he should respond to straight forward feelings and not dancing around the proverbial maypole.

Very carefully, sometimes revealing that you want more out of a friendship can end one. You must base your decision on your friend's ability to handle the truth about how you really feel, it helps if they love and respect you. You must also be prepared to deal with the rejection that may follow. It takes a strong person to continue in a friendship knowing that they are the object of your desire.
Instead of confessing, you should ask your friend, "How do you see me?" or What am I to you? If they ask, why do you ask? don't say anything until they answer your question. If they say they see you as a sister, leave it at that. If they persist, just tell them that you just wanted to know where their head's at. If you need icing on the the cake, just tell them you saw on a show where this guy wanted more from his friend, but didn't know how to tell her and you were just opening that door for him.

Well been there, done that. I told my friend that i liked him and wanted us to be more than friends. we knew each other for 2 years before that. While he took his time to respond, once we are together, he is happy I took the initiative and basically feels we wasted two years being just friends. So it can work. But the ideal thing to let him know and then give him time. Dont call too often and dont bring that up too much.. just be yourself around and act like a friend. That would make him take a decision. and hopefully it will be positive.

Just do it. Bring him aside and say that you have something really important to talk to him about. Make sure no one else is around to distract him. The worst that can happen is he can tell you he doesn't like you... and unless he's a jerk, he'll be gentle about it.

he probaly knows just by how ya look at him. Maybe tell him sometimes too. He probably needs to hear it. No harm in it. He needs to smile and feel good about himself too.

open a serious conversation with him as to what he would desire in a relationship.......
if many of these things truly reflect you, then say - those qualities can be found in me, do you think you would be interested in a relationship with me, your friend?
afterall, must be friends first before can be anything else truly fully vested
