I like to mix the pb & j in a bowl first-into this pbj glop & then put it on the bread. Somehow, it's just better that way.

I love PB and J also. There is a brand of a PB and J sandwich in the freezer dept. in grocery stores called Uncrustables. It is a round bread with no crusts. They are a peanut butter and jelly sealed sandwich all filled with what else....peanut butter and jelly. Try those. They are good too. Another thing I like is peanut butter and marshmallow cream sandwiches. (Fluffer nutters)

i do! i do!! they're my all time favorite sandwich ever!
i make it with the peanut butter next to the bread on both slices and jelly in the middle. and in my opinion, raspberry jam and nutty peanut butter taste the best together!
what's really weird is that i went to scotland, and they DONT EAT PB&J sandwichs over there! they thought it was a really weird and disgusting combo...
i guess its an american thing. (or maybe just good for a select few in scotland)

I love peanut butter and apricot jam on warm toasted white bread so it makes the peanut butter melty,it might sound weird but, melted sharp cheddar cheese in the sandwich is amazing.Like a grilled cheese sandwich with the peanutbutter and jam.Cold milk is a must, chocolate milk is even better.Enjoy.....

I like PB & J sandwiches, but probably not as much as you do. I do like trying different jams on the sandwiches. I grew up eating PB & J sandwiches. Ate them almost every day for over 15 years.

If you like them, try this...really. Make the sandwich, then fry it over low heat just as you would a grilled cheese with a little butter melted in the pan. WOW.

Excellent balance of protein from the pb (if you use enough) and carb from the bread, jelly adds great flavor.
Couldn't live without them!!

My husband eats them almost everyday and he absolutely has to have smooth JIF pb and either strawberry or raspberry jam/jelly.
