Neither one of you should be mad. Sometimes it's not what you say, but the tone of your voice. Call him up and tell him that you'll miss him and you weren't mad but disappointed.
Maybe he'd lose his job if he misses a day of work. I don't know what he does, but if I missed a day of work, I'd be fired, and depending on the circumstances, I'd get fired even if I called in.
Take a deep breath and call him back. He's not mad, he's confused. Your words say one thing, but your attitude says another.

The both of you should just grow up and make a decision before the thanksgiving break is over! The questions is do you want him to visit you? Do you care if he has money or not? Why even bother getting mad about something so petty? Obviosly it's not that upsetting if you can't even decide if your mad at him or not.

sounds like you have both been unfair to one another - he was honest in telling you the reason why he felt this was not a good time to come, perhaps he is working for Christmas money ...... overtime is paid during holiday season ......
you became mad cos he did not give the answer you wanted -
if you two value this relationship any, then need to realize there may be times when you cannot be together and greatly value the times you are!
wise up and appreciate each other!

neither of you should be mad it was just a misunderstanding and i think that if you would try you could work it out and go back to normal and maybe he will still come down for thanksgiving if you ask him too and tell him how much you really want him to be there and how special it would be to you.

Sounds like a lack of communication and no one should be mad. First of all, let him know how you truely feel, tell him you want him to come down but if it is inconvient for him, you'll understand and will miss him! That way you will leave it up to him to decide.

When you work your job has to come before your pleasure, otherwise you could be out of a job. Sounds like your boyfriend is a very conscious young man, count your blessings, lots of guys now days think everything should be given to them. So your answer would have to be you messed up. He's doing what he has to do.

No one is the winner in this situation. Long distance relationships do no last due to the problems that you are talking about.
If the relationship is worth saving you will both work out a schedule to spend more time together.

your question is confusing..so what your saying is that he wants to work and not come to you, your mad at that, and hes mad at you because you said dont come then..is this correct..what you need to do is to tell him your feelings about what you said in your question..that you feel that working is more important then seeing you..that its only one day he would miss and it would be time before you got to see him again..and your not mad that hes mad, your just hurt by his self absorbed attitude..tell him the truth of how you feel..

Spend an extra day in school and learn how to write a sentence. Maybe he doesn't want to spend time with someone that is stupid.
